Here a Chick, There a Chick, Everywhere a Chick-Chick

What an amazing 21 days we have had in Kindergarten!  There has been so much excitement in our classroom as we watched the chicks arrive, put them in the brood, and held them in our hands.  They are the cutest chicks we have ever seen!  All together our class hatched six chicks.  This will be an experience that we will remember for a long time!

Mrs. Hickey has hatched one egg so far.  We look forward to the arrival of our chicks.  One more day!

All About Comic Books

What a fantastic day we had with Mr. Lavallee!  He taught us all about comic books and comic book writing.  We were able to look at comic books that were older than us, some of them were over 20 years old.  WOW!  We saw a comic book before it was inked or colored.  Then we made our own comic strip AND we got to choose a comic book to take home.  It was very cool!  Thank you Mr. Lavallee.

The Gift of Giving

We had so much fun making clay ornaments, decorating the gift bags, and sharing them with our friends.We learned that giving feels better than getting when we exchanged ornaments.

We have so much fun telling stories, responding to poems, and singing songs in Kindergarten!

It was so exciting to share an exciting day with the Fishing Cove Kindergarten community.  Mrs. Andresen told us a cute story, Little Bunny's Sleepless Night.  After, we all made our own puppets so that we can retell the story to our families.
It was a wonderful day!
